The wave power plant is a popular place for photographers and those who like weather, wind and waves.
The wave power plant is best experienced after there have been a few days with a lot of wind.
The wave power plant was opened in 1985. After three years in operation, the plant broke down. In 1988, there was another attempt to operate it with a new concept. In 1991, the plant broke down again and operations were abandoned. For many years, only parts of the drawbridge remained standing. In 2015, this was also affected by a powerful storm. Now only the concrete pillars remain.
IMPORTANT! The wave power plant has become a popular tourist destination, but unfortunately there are many people who take big chances here. Show respect for the forces of the sea
